MUNCH!
A dance and sound performance for all ages
10 December 2022 I 16.30 h

Dancing plates, a hiccup that moves to the foot, chatty dishes, a delicate egg dance. In the “eating concert” MUNCH!, together with the audience, we swallow, smell, enjoy, consume, nibble, listen and digest. An experimental and respectful approach to food and drink becomes a sensory experience of a special kind.

What makes us humans different from the trees in a forest? Can trees hear us? Do trees have feelings? “I am a tree” is an artificial experience of nature in which children become co-creators. The performance invites them to think together about nature and its functions. How do we live in nature, how do we imitate processes from nature? What would it be like to be a tree, an ocean or an insect? And what is it actually like to be a plastic flower?

TOMORROW IS YESTERDAY TODAY
A cross-generational dance-theatre performance I For all from 8 years onwards
Three lives. Three ages. Three bodies. A 12-year-old, a 31-year-old and a 63-year-old share their experiences of life. In their stories and thoughts they negotiate past, present and future, illustrating the change of time but also the continuity in life – with dance and movement, with sound and language.

HUMAN GEOGRAPHY
Guestperformance series DIVERSITY
On the topic of inclusion & participation
by Silke Z. & die metabolisten in cooperation with QUERFELDEIN
HUMAN GEOGRAPHY | CiM – Companhia de Dança
An inclusive dance piece for everybody from age 8
Human Geography investigates the relationship between people and their environment in different places. In the choreography HUMAN GEOGRAPHY by Ana Rita Barata, the performers enter a space together – their bodies become points of reference for each other as well as for the things and movements in this space. They create a living, constantly changing map of different surfaces, landscapes and territories. How do the bodies and things relate to each other in space? How do they change common territories? HUMAN GEOGRAPHY is the surveying of a space with different bodies that inscribe their traces in the memory of this place.
CiM – dance Company promotes a pioneering approach to artistic creation in the spirit of inclusion through dance and image. The company develops regular training and awareness that focuses on the movement specificities and unique expressiveness of each dancer/performer and promotes a vision of the idea of capacity and boundaries through choreography that reveals diversity as a driving force.
WITH US – Episode 1: Karel (65) meets David (25)
Silke Z. & die metabolisten
Before the performances, Silke Z. & die metabolisten develop an intergenerational dance perspective on the guest performance Human Geography: In Episode 1, Karel (65) and David (25) meet.

OCTOBER: „BLÜHENDE LANDSCHAFTEN“ | AltentanzTheater Ensemble ZARTBITTER
For the third event in the NachWieVor programme series, we will be hosting the AltentanzTheater Ensemble ZARTBITTER in October.
Together with Lisa Thomas, the artist Justyna Koeke and the choreographer/dancer Pascal Sangl, ZARTBITTER 2022 has embarked on a research. The ensemble moves in the interplay of body, dance and living material: flowers and plants. The installative-choreographic performance adapts to the respective location and thus becomes a unique experience again and again. The TTW ensemble under the artistic direction of Lisa Thomas was founded in 2010 from a group of older people with a special passion for dance theatre.
