Standing in the corner shivering, heat that knocks you over, a bright red head with blue lips, chattering your teeth from the cold or melting away in the shade: Temperatures have an immediate effect on the body and change movements. And there are parallels between temperature and temperament: excited, fast, warm, calm, dark, cold, fleeting and mild. Two performers give themselves over to the elemental phenomena of the ups and downs of temperatures. They run hot and keep a cool head. FrierSchlotterSchwitz will be a test for the ensemble of the JUNGEN STAATSTHEATER. For the first time, the actors will have to rely entirely on their bodies and explore dance as a means of expression. The premiere of “FRIERSCHLOTTERSCHWITZ” took place in 2013 at the Staatstheater Karlsruhe.

Each day consists of an unending chain of great adventures – even odds and end like a branch on the way can be a discovery, a beetle even a sensation. The two performer invites their audience to share this exciting way. Getting out of bed. Quickly to the bathroom. Shirt on, pants, done. And now they want to get out, get out of the house. Now, discover the world. First of all carefully, because no one knows what will happen. Maybe there is a cow? Or another animal? A pig, big or small? Or even a mouse hiding there behind the house?

Ingeborg von Zadow wrote a piece for the very smallest, full of puns and funny rhymes and surprising discoveries.

The premiere of “Out of the house” took place on 14. April 2012 in COMEDIA Theatre Cologne.

Once in the sky and back… pushing off from the ground, jumping into the blue of the sky and landing gently on earth again… that’s what the three actors in the new play for the very young dream of. But they don’t stop at dreaming and think: Who could do such a thing? A ball that bounces on the ground and flies upwards, a human being that pushes off the ground and leaps into the air, the human voice that can bounce up and down in motion, a drumstick that bounces on the head of a drum. Barbara Fuchs, Karolina Rüegg and Tobias Liebezeit jump, fall, sing, make music, roll and play for children up to the age of two and their parents. In their concept, which is oriented towards the perception of the age group, form and colour become sound, sound becomes movement, physicality combines with sound and movement rhythm with musical rhythm.
With great joy in experimentation, the three artists explore “Skyblue” in all its facets, sometimes as a duo, sometimes as a soloist or as a trio: What does sky blue sound like? What is a round sound and what is a round movement? At the end of the imaginative play, the boundary to the stage falls and the little audience members are allowed to indulge their own urge to explore. A ball is not only a beautiful toy for adults, it is also a musical instrument and a connection to the sky.
The premiere of “Skyblue” took place on 12 November 2009 at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf.
