3-Käse HOCH Tage (Tiny Tots‘ Days)
tanzfuchs PRODUKTION will host the first edition of the 3-Käse HOCH Tage (Tiny Tots’ Days) from 22 – 24 May 2015 at BARNES CROSSING – Freiraum für TanzPerformanceKunst at the art centre Wachsfabrik – a dance music performance programme for a very young audience. Choreographer Barbara Fuchs and her team will be presenting their whole repertory consisting of Headwalkers, MUNCH! and Buckets of Feelings! during the Tiny Tots’ Days. In addition, the guest performance Le son de la sève by French artist Benoît Sicat will be delighting spectators young and old. Moreover, the visitors can experience “das Rundherum” (The Trappings) comprising the handicrafts area “All cheese”, sound spheres, video installations and a great atmosphere to linger and have a picnic.
Le son de la sève
Le son de la sève is a space installation made of old, hollow trees. Within this space, two musicians approach the audience with strange instruments and with them the spectators explore a forest of musical trees: Percussions, marimbulas and kalimbas.
The audience can move around freely in this sound sphere with its earthy trees that have become unique instruments and that are creating forest-like sounds. Everyone in this spontaneous and collectively created concert can immerse themselves into his/her own magical soundscape.
Duration: 35 min, audience space is limited to 30 people per performace
Idea and direction: Benoît Sicat, Sculptures: Bruno Guiheneuf and Benoît Sicat, Performer: Nicolas Camus and Benoît Sicat
Le son de la sève is a production by 16 rue de Plaisance, funded by Conseil GОnОral de Seine-Saint-Denis and Ville de Rosny-sous-Bois. Diffusion / Production - Benoît Sicat

The Trappings (das Rundherum)
In addition to the performances visitors can dwell in the area of the Wachsfabrik around the studios of Barnes Crossing, in the foyer and the outdoor terraces to have your individual picnic. You can also explore the sound cheese triangles by Jörg Ritzenhoff all around the Wachsfabrik as well as play and rummage everyday in the handicrafts area “All cheese” starting at 10 a.m. in studio 2. There, the audience young and old can walk through the video installation WandelTür by Barbara Schroer. All performances are participative, and the playful familial atmosphere encourages getting in touch with the materials used in the performance as well as with the performers. Make a day of it and visit the forest-botanical garden or relax at the river Rhine in Sürth oder Rodenkirchen.
